The 4th season of the Basketball Africa League, BAL, begins Saturday at SunBet Arena in Pretoria, South Africa where four teams from the continent will play 12 games in the first leg of the playoff, known as the Kalahari Conference. VOA's Sonny Young and Muqbil Yabarow kick off the podcast for the season known as ‘Nuthin' But Net,’ breaking down the teams: Dynamo Basketball Club of Burundi, Cape Town Tigers of South Africa, Petro De Luanda of Angola and FUS Rabat of Morocco. The 2024 Kalahari Conference runs from March 9 to the 17th.
