BAL4HER

BAL4Her is the league’s commitment to promote gender equality among fans and local stakeholders and to develop pipelines and recruitment opportunities for women to fully participate and be visible across BAL operations.  Through BAL game-day assets, teams, and collaborative efforts with corporate and community partners, the BAL will provide financial support and bring awareness to organizations that drive the female agenda forward.

BAL FUTURE PROS

BAL Future Pros is the BAL’s off-court professional development and employability platform, aiming to raise awareness about the growing sports industry in Africa and to grow the pipeline of young professionals. Through this platform, the BAL has onboarded two cohorts (Season 4 and Season 5), in which over 2500 professionals in sports have applied and over 35 have been selected for work opportunities within the BAL.

BAL ADVANCE

BAL Advance focuses on the professionalization of basketball in Africa and the holistic development of players. Our goal is to provide resources to help players on and off the court. Over the last 3 seasons, the BAL has focused on Mental Performance, Nutrition, Financial Literacy and Personal Branding.
