Which Kalahari Conference teams can qualify automatically to the 2024 Playoffs?

The teams that finish in the top two places of the conference qualify automatically to the BAL Playoffs whereas the best two third-placed from across all conferences will complete the eight-team Playoffs field.

Find below the different scenarios that will decide the final standings of the Kalahari Conference:

If FUS Rabat beats Cape Town Tigers the order will be:

° 1st - FUS Rabat (3-1)
° 2nd - Petro de Luanda (2-2)
° 3rd - Cape Town Tigers (1-3)

If Cape Town Tigers beat FUS Rabat by less than 26 points – which is their head-to-head point differential from Game 3 – the order will be as follows:

° 1st - FUS Rabat (2-2) due to higher point-differential against Petro (+6) and Cape Town (>0)
° 2nd – Petro de Luanda (2-2) due to higher point-differential against Cape Town (+6)
° 3rd – Cape Town Tigers (2-2)

If Cape Town Tigers beat FUS Rabat by 26 points or more there will be another three-way tie based on the head-to-head point-differential (FUS Rabat +6 vs Petro; Petro +6 vs Cape Town; Cape Town >0 vs FUS Rabat).

° Final order will be determined by head-to-head points, and then total conference averages, which depends on the outcome of Sunday’s game.
