Over the last 207 games, the Basketball Africa League (BAL) has witnessed some coaching masterclasses, but it has also seen some questionable coaching tactics.
Exceptional coaches and talented players are a winning combination, and some head coaches have led their teams to success. Conversely, teams have had disappointing campaigns.
As we build up to the 2026 Sahara Conference, which is scheduled to take place in Rabat, Morocco, from 24 April to 3 May, we take a look at the win-loss records of the 43 BAL coaches from the previous five seasons, including the 2026 Kalahari Conference.
