Patriots B.B.C. (RWANDA)
Patriots Basketball Club is a professional basketball club based in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda. Founded in 2014 by a group of top corporate executives from diverse sectors of the economy, the team was formed with a vision to take the Rwandan Basketball game to another level. Since its establishment PATRIOTS, BBC has dominated Rwandan Basketball winning Four out of five Championships, winning the last three consecutive championships during the 2015/2016, 2017/2018, 2018/2019 seasons.
As a result of domestic success, the club has represented the country in regional competitions such as Zone V Basketball Championship, attaining 3rd place in the first-ever competition of that magnitude, and came second in the next outing of the Club in the Zone V Basketball Championship. On another note, PATRIOTS BBC defied all odds by qualifying to the inaugural Basketball Africa League on an unbeaten run.
The club is presided over by Mr. Brian Kirungi, and captained by Aristide Mugabe.
