RSSB Tigers Basketball Club is a leading basketball team based in Kigali, Rwanda, competing in the Rwanda Basketball League (RBL). The club, initially known as Tigers Basketball Club, was founded in 2019 by former professional basketball player Francis Shyaka, who previously played for APR BBC, Kigali Basketball Club (KBC), and Patriots BBC.
In 2025, Tigers reached a major milestone by winning the Rwanda Basketball Cup, followed by a victory in the Super Cup, where they defeated APR BBC, one of the most dominant teams in Rwandan and regional basketball.
At the end of the 2025 season, the Rwanda Social Security Board assumed full ownership of the club, leading to its rebranding as RSSB Tigers Basketball Club.
Today, RSSB Tigers stands at the top of the Rwanda Basketball League, having lost only one game since the start of the current season, and continues to position itself as a strong contender both nationally and on the continental stage.
