Zamalek (EGYPT)

Founded in 1911, Zamalek is the basketball team of a multi-sports club from Egypt. The team has won Egypt’s national championships 13 times in the past 45 years, as well as numerous other national competitions. In 1992, it won the African Basketball Championship. Prior to the creation of FIBA Africa in 1961, Zamalek competed in the European champions league.
