Al Ahly Ly (LIBYA)

Founded in 1947 and based in Benghazi, Libya, Al Ahly SC is one of the country's leading multi-sports clubs. Alongside its success across several disciplines, the club has established itself as a regular contender in Libyan basketball, winning multiple national titles and representing Libya in continental competitions.

Al Ahly made its Basketball Africa League debut in 2024, finishing as runners-up after falling to Petro de Luanda in the championship game. The Libyan club returned to the BAL in 2026 after winning the 2025 Road to BAL, advancing once again to the BAL Finals and securing a third-place finish.
