ASC Ville De Dakar (SENEGAL)

ASC Ville de Dakar traces its roots to ASC Municipalité de Dakar, a club founded in the 1980s. In 2006, it became ASC Ville de Dakar, while the men's team was established in 2012 and earned promotion to Senegal's top division two years later.

Under the leadership of President Ibrahima Yatma Diaw, the club developed into one of Senegal's leading basketball programs. ASC Ville de Dakar won its first national championship in 2024 and successfully defended its title in 2025, securing back-to-back Basketball Africa League appearances.

ASC Ville de Dakar became the third Senegalese club to compete in the Basketball Africa League, following AS Douanes and Dakar Université Club. The club made its BAL debut in 2025, recording notable wins over former champions US Monastir and Petro de Luanda during the Sahara Conference. In 2026, it returned to the BAL, advanced to the BAL Finals for the first time in club history, and reached the quarterfinals after qualifying from the Sahara Conference.
