Dar City Basketball Club (TANZANIA)

Founded in 2022 and based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Dar City Basketball Club is one of the country's newest professional basketball organizations. Built with the ambition of competing at the highest level, the club has quickly established itself as one of Tanzania's leading teams through a professional structure and a long-term development strategy.

Dar City qualified for its first Basketball Africa League season in 2026 after a successful Road to BAL campaign. Making its BAL debut, the Tanzanian club advanced to the BAL Finals in Kigali, marking a historic achievement for both the organization and Tanzanian basketball.
