FUS de Rabat (MOROCCO)

Founded on April 10, 1946, Fath Union Sport (FUS) is one of Morocco's oldest multi-sports clubs. Its basketball section was established the same year and has competed at the highest national level ever since, becoming one of the country's most successful teams. The club's name was chosen by King Mohammed V, who insisted on the word "Fath," meaning "victory" or "conquest" in Arabic.

FUS Rabat made its Basketball Africa League debut in 2024 after finishing first in the Kalahari Conference, ahead of eventual champions Petro de Luanda. The Moroccan powerhouses represented the kingdom in the BAL in 2024, 2025 and 2026, where they competed in the Sahara Conference and advancing to the BAL Finals in Kigali, where it reached the quarterfinals.
